Growing up, I spent a lot of time in the outdoors. My father being in the Air Force gave me a taste of natures many different flavors. From the east coast to the west, from the mountains of Utah to the awe struck forests of Upper Peninsula Michigan along with being able to travel abroad, I was able to see nature in it's many wonders. Being influenced artistically at a young age along with the deep appreciation and respect for nature bestowed a love and commitment to conservation.

Marks paintings, so powerfully realistic and full of detail illustrate the passion for his work and the desire to make you feel as though you are there. Equally gratifying to Mark is having his art play such a large part in generating contributions to conservation.
