Fred Dingler is a graduate of the highly regarded American Academy of Art in Chicago, Ill. Upon graduation, Fred Dingler embarked on a successful 40-year career as a commercial illustrator working for local, regional and national clients. For many years, he created sports images for Kelly-Russell Studios where he was continually recognized for his illustrations of famous sports celebrities of the time. During this period, Fred Dingler began to pursue his life-long passion as a teacher by working for 11 years part-time at the College of Visual Arts in St. Paul, Minn. In 2000, Fred retired from the illustration business to focus on painting and teaching fine art classes and workshops full-time. This accomplished artist shares his expertise at variety of locations including: The Minnesota River School of Fine Art, The Bloomington Art Center, Savage Art Studios, Northfield Art Center, Hopkins Art Center and his own Dingler Studios. Today his artistic reputation expands, Fred Dingler is regularly asked to lead workshops at locations throughout the U.S.
