Artist's Statement/Quote
The Gibbs' Philosophy is simple: Be inspired by The Beauty of Nature.
Patrick is a gifted, award winning artist from Spring Lake Park, Minnesota. He paints exclusively with oils on canvas. He has a side-by-side studio with his father (another wildlife artist), so that they can watch, learn from and critique each other.
Patrick is a master of color and composition. His use of tones and values are especially extraordinary and create beautiful compositions that are pleasing to the eye. His use of light and shadows offers the viewer an unbelievable illusion of depth and form a true natural landscape.
Each of Patrick’s paintings is so incredibly realistic people continually mistake them for photographs. His group of collectors spans The US, Canada and Europe.
Patrick has been a Featured Artist and his paintings have been selected for National Magazine Covers, as well as 1st Place finishes in Juried Expos.
